Ideally located between the Grand Place and the Central Station, only a few steps away from museums and art galleries, le Dixseptième is a luxurious and serene oasis in the historical heart of Brussels. A sophisticated sound system plays an eclectic mix of contemporary world music 24 hours a day, candles diffuse warm, soothing scents in the lobby.
The monumental lobby is a vast elegant space with ever changing light and shadow. Since the 14th Century, the building has been situated in the first paved street of the city in the most prestigious area of Brussels. Rebuild to grandeur at the end of the 17th Century, le Dixseptième became the residence of the Spanish Ambassador, during which time, the magnificent oak staircase and marble fire-places were added.
