ii. SEASONAL RATES
How should I display seasonal rates?

The rates field has 2 parts: Description & Rate
In the description enter the room name/ room type and the month or season it applies to:
Tip: The more specific the rates are, the higher the conversion rate is likely to be - as 1) the customer has to choose a specific rate when enquiring and 2) the customer will receive the rate they were expecting.

Example:
Junior Suite - August    ;  300
Exec.Suite - Jul / Aug   ;  240
Exec. Dbl - Jun-Sept;    ; 200
Exec. Dbl - Winter        ; 150
Exec. Dbl - Autumn      ; 120

In the "Rates Info" field you can put further details so the customer can determine the exact cost. Also explain any unusual abbreviations.

Example: Rates Info Field
Winter is from 1st December - 31st March;
Autumn is from 1st October - 1st December
Sea View Rooms - £10 pp/pn
Extra Bed: £50 per night

What do I do when I receive a booking?

When you receive a booking from Hotique, you should contact the customer via email or phone to confirm availability and prices ( If there is no availability, please also inform the customer)

Booking Management - Confirming & Declining Bookings

How can I keep track of bookings from Hotique?

Login to the Partner Area, using your username and password and click on Enquiries Here you will find a list of all the provisional booking enquiries and you should note whether the bookings were confirmed or declined. Each booking should be either confirmed or declined:

 - The booking went ahead - Confirming a booking

If the customer decides to go ahead with the booking, you should log in to the Hotique Partner Area and then click on Confirm to the right of the booking. The next step is to complete the dates and the rate per night applicable for that stay. Once the details are entered, press the “Confirm” button again. The booking has now been confirmed.

 - The customer did not go ahead - Declining a booking

If the customer booking enquiry has not gone ahead, then click on “Decline” and fill in the reason, (this helps Hotique to provide you with more relevant bookings) and click the “Submit” button.

Confirm or Decline

This must be done for every booking that is received to ensure that booking records are kept up to date. Please note that once a customer submits a booking, it is listed as a “Provisional Booking” and therefore all Provisional Bookings must be either Confirmed or Declined.
