The Outpost was once a grand private residence and has now been beautifully restored for the enjoyment of house guests, with eleven charming bedrooms of various sizes. The atmosphere is relaxed and its ambience elegant.
There are fine oil paintings and marble busts throughout and the rooms are all furnished with period English antiques. The collection of paintings and prints by 18th and 19th Century English masters is particularly interesting. Beautiful Cadogan Gardens with private access at The Outpost for house guests, is a perfect setting for a special stay in London. The location is superb - Harrods and the Victoria & Albert museum in Knightsbridge are within a few minutes walk and Peter Jones in Sloane Square is only a hundred yards away. The Outpost also provides easy access to theatreland and the City by taxi or underground from Sloane Square. LThere are numerous fine restaurants within easy walking distance of The Outpost and the House Manager has a list of these.
