Built from a monastery dating back to the 1400s, the San Domenico has retained the original structures of its ancient walls and interiors so visitors can still breathe the austere air of distant contemplative silence. Rich in ancient memories, there are 105 traditionally styled rooms, 44 in the old convent area, and 61 in the Grand Hotel wing. The hotel has a pool area, fitness room, wellness area, restaurants, bar and bus service to the beaches.

Description & Location
The San Domenico is located in Taormina’s historic centre with its 17th century gate and monumental entrance crowned by the white emblem of the Dominican Fathers, now the symbol of the hotel. The hotel can arrange limousine pick up from Catania Airport. Taormina can also be reached by train or bus.
