Palacio Ca Sa Galesa is located in the centre of Palma's "centro historico" and is a stones throw from Palma's cathedral - from the roof terrace you can admire the Cathedral's imposing spires while watching the yachts in Palma's harbour. The hotel is decorated in a traditional style with antiques and original artworks throughout each room, all with different layouts.
Arriving at Palacio Ca Sa Galesa by car is certainly an adventure - the narrow streets will test your navigation and orientation skills - arriving by taxi is by far the easiest option. Being a small hotel, there is no restaurant and breakfast has to be ordered the day before - so you have to decide in advance your time and choice of breakfast therefore it's not for those who don't like to plan ahead.
There is no hotel restaurant, however room service is available from 12.00 - 22.00, if you fancy a bite in your room, and the staff are more than happy to recommend restaurants to suit your style.
For relaxing there is a pretty courtyard, the roof terrace, living room and kitchen where classical music creates a peaceful atmosphere. In winter you can also enjoy the basement cave with an indoor swimming pool and sauna.
The rooms feature traditional style design including original artworks, antique tables and mosaic tiles from Paris in the bathrooms. The Jacuzzi bath and a special "bath menu" ensure that you can fully relax after a hard days shopping or sightseeing.
Mainly British and German couples, aged 40 and up. Visit in Spring and Autumn to avoid the midsummer heat.
