Opened in March 2006, the Granados is located in a beautiful and peaceful tree-lined street street in the fashionable Eixample district. Only 10 minutes from Placa Catalunya, and close to the most interesting restaurants, cafe's and boutique shops in Barcelona, Granados 83 is very well situated. As soon as you arrive at the stunning period entrance you are met by a concierge wearing converse trainers - which sets the mood for a modern hotel that is completely at ease with itself.
Rooms
The rooms feature beautiful wooden floors and sliding doors reveal the flat screen TV and wardrobe area. Each room has a small modern leather sofa to relax and contemplate the day ahead, while a sumptuous leather headboard, silky textures and mood lighting tempt you to stay behind, just a little longer.
The bathrooms are clean and modern, decorated in large plain white marble slabs, and the rooms all include a bath with shower.
As all rooms feature the same modern design - there are 4 suites, configured over 2 levels, and these have access to the private terrace with sun loungers (shared among the 4 suites) The suites are also suitable for families with young children who can use the downstairs lounge as separate sleeping quarters.
The rooms at the rear are brighter, but you may hear the nearby school sports field if you are in the hotel during school hours. The front facing rooms look over a quiet street. As the suites are on the ground level at the rear they are darker than the rooms higher up.
