The Sukhothai is unlike any hotel in Bangkok with its subtle low rise construction and tranquil green space surrounding it. As soon as you arrive, it is clear that the Sukhothai is a very calming place to stay – a million miles from the hustle and bustle of the Bangkok streets. The hotel features a green central courtyard, a large swimming pool, gym, sauna and Jacuzzi (separate male / female access). At the rear of the hotel is the charming Spa Botanica - let the experienced staff gently relieve those aching muscles after too many hours on the road.

The Sukhothai is located in the central business and embassy district – with easy access to the Skytrain and subway station. Taxi’s are very reasonable in Bangkok, so hop in a taxi to explore, unless there’s a storm, in which case the traffic grinds to a halt!

104 Superior Rooms (38m2) – Excellent standard room
24 Deluxe Studios ( 45m2) – Located in the leisure wing close to the pool – with wooden floors.
35 Executive Suites (76m2) – Spacious suites
25 Deluxe Suites ( 76m2) – Similar to executive suites, except living area is separated from bedroom with a sliding door
12 Garden Suites (76m2) – High ceilings as on the ground floor, with small balcony & 4 poster bed.
6 Deluxe Terrace Suites ( 66m2) – Overlooking the pool – has a terrace with sun beds.
3 Deluxe Residence Suites ( 98 – 138m2)
1 The Sukhothai Suite ( 198m2) – fit for a king ( or queen)

The Garden Suites feel very spacious – we loved the four poster bed and orange silk decoration.
The Deluxe Studios are good for leisure stays with easy pool access and IPod docking station.
